About the manufacturer

Frapin is one of the oldest and most prestigious Cognac houses, with a family history in the Grande Champagne region dating back to 1270. The Frapin family has cultivated grapes for centuries, and today owns one of the largest continuous vineyard estates in the Cognac region – over 240 hectares in Grande Champagne, considered 1er Cru de Cognac. The producer adheres to a "from vineyard to bottle" philosophy: they grow their own grapes, make wine, distil and age their eaux-de-vie in their own cellars. Frapin stands out for its respect for traditions, slow maturation, and expression of terroir, aiming to create a Cognac that reveals not only the influence of wood, but also the subtle character of Grande Champagne's chalky soil and Ugni Blanc grapes.
