The aroma reveals notes of pear, citrus zest, white flowers, and subtle hints of hazelnut. On the palate, the wine is concentrated yet exceptionally precise – with vibrant acidity, chalky minerality, and a long, elegant finish. The 2019 vintage brought more ripeness and texture, while retaining the characteristic tension and refinement of Puligny-Montrachet.

About the manufacturer
Frédéric Magnien is a fifth-generation Burgundian winemaker from Morey-Saint-Denis. He gained experience not only in Burgundy but also in Australia and California, and upon returning to France, he established his négociant project, based on respect for terroir and minimal intervention in winemaking. Today, he is considered one of the most prominent names in modern Burgundy.
The winery's philosophy is rooted in accurately conveying the character of each plot. In recent years, Magnien has moved away from the more pronounced use of new oak, focusing increasingly on aging in clay amphorae and used barrels to preserve fruit purity and minerality. This approach has led his wines to be highly valued for their elegance, transparency, and authentic expression of the Burgundy terroir.
