Gosset Celebris 2012 is one of the most exceptional vintage champagne expressions from one of the oldest Champagne houses, Gosset , founded in 1584, and is therefore considered the most important symbol of history and quality in the region. ( Celebris is a prestigious vintage cuvée, produced only in special vintage years; 2012 was only the 9th version of this cuvée in the last 35 years).

On the nose, this champagne is elegantly fresh with nuances of citrus peel, green pear and sweet orange, which warm up to give the palate accents of brioche, almond cake and vanilla. The taste is structured, deeply mineral and harmoniously balanced - the acidity remains bright, but together with the fruit and spice complex, it forms a complex fabric of flavors that develops from citrus to earthier berry shades. The aftertaste is long, elegant and refined, saturated with aromas and longevity potential.

About the manufacturer

Gosset is one of the oldest Champagne houses, founded in 1584, and is considered a major historical symbol in the region. They are renowned for their focus on Grand Cru vineyards, their subtle philosophy of blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and their long-term aging on lees to create complex, multi-layered Champagnes. The house’s philosophy is based on the principle that Champagne should not only be technically perfect, but also expressive – each bottle should convey the character of the terroir, elegance and lasting quality. Celebris cuvée is produced only in special vintage years, making each version unique, representing the house’s traditions and ability to create complex, refined Champagnes that evolve with time.
Gosset pays special attention to the selection and care of its vineyards: they manage only the best Grand Cru plots and meticulously care for each plant to ensure that the grapes achieve the maximum balance of aromas and acidity. The house believes that high-quality champagne is born in the vineyard, so the harvest and the character of the plot are key elements. This philosophy - a harmonious relationship between man and terroir - allows Gosset to create wines that not only reflect the climate of the year, but also perfectly convey the unique character of the area, maintaining long-lasting elegance and complexity.
