It has a rich, slightly coppery-orange color due to maceration on the skins. The aroma is dominated by citrus peels (especially orange, mandarin), with an immediate sensation of fresh fruit flavor with stone fruit tones and a subtle hint of herbal or tea notes. On the palate, it has vibrant acidity, gentle tannins, a light dried peel spice, and a texture reminiscent of the structure typical of orange wines. Aging on the lees and in neutral barrels provides a touch of warmth and wood, but the wine remains lively, energetic, and expressive.

About the manufacturer

Weingut Heinrich is a family-run winery in Burgenland, Austria, managed by Gernot and Heike Heinrich. Their philosophy is based on biodynamic farming principles: soil vitality, hand-harvesting, minimal intervention in production, and natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The winery has developed over a long period – it's not a place for quick experiments, but a stable, established operation aiming to convey the character of its terroir and the authenticity of the grapes. The Heinrich family pays attention to detail – from vineyard management to the selection of aging vessels – and treats their "Naked" line as wine "unburdened" by excessive processes: unfiltered, with very little sulfur, allowing the wine to speak openly and without hidden influences.
