An elegant, refined Grand Cru champagne from Ay , one of the most prestigious Pinot Noir areas in the Champagne region. The aroma is dominated by notes of ripe apples, citrus peel, white peach and soft yellow fruits, complemented by tones of brioche, almonds and honey - this gives aromatic depth and harmonious complexity. On the palate, this champagne is dry ( Brut ), with a creamy texture, very fine bubbles and balanced acidity, which gives elegance and structure. The aftertaste is long and harmonious, expressively conveying the character of the Grand Cru terroir and the delicate combination of fruit and brioche - an excellent choice for both gastronomy and ceremonial toasts.

This version of Henri Giraud MV19 Ay Grand Cru Brut features a special bottle with the Lithuanian coat of arms, designed to commemorate the special occasion and partnership with Lithuania. It is not only a subtle design accent, but also a symbol that honors the country's tradition and connection with this exceptional Champagne.

About the manufacturer

Maison Henri Giraud is a relatively small but highly respected Champagne producer based in Ay, an area known for its distinctive Pinot Noir character. Unlike some larger houses that produce Champagne from many different locations, Henri Giraud places great emphasis on its own vineyards and carefully controlled vinification. Each plot is vinified separately, and traditional fermentation and long aging with yeasts give the wines elegance, structure and aromatic complexity.
The Cellar Master (Chef de Cave) of the Henri Giraud Champagne House is Sébastien Le Golvet, who is responsible for the creation of each Grand Cru and other cuvée and overseeing their vinification processes. He has held this position since 2004 and is a key figure in the house’s unique winemaking philosophy – he combines traditional methods with innovation, oversees fermentation and long maturation, selects and toasts oak barrels from the Argonne forest, and closely monitors the evolution of aromas during both fermentation and maturation. Le Golvet pays special attention to the expression and structure of terroir in wines, aiming for Henri Giraud champagnes to be not only technically perfect, but also rich in aromatic complexity and subtle minerality - this allows the house wines to stand out with their elegance and deep flavor nuances.
