About the manufacturer

This is a true "World Blended Whisky" – a blend combining whiskies from Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and the USA, including whisky from the Chichibu distillery. It is crafted by Ichiro Akuto, and the final blend is aged and "married" at Chichibu. This is important because while the bottle has the aesthetic of a "Japanese Whisky" style, it is not 100% Japanese whisky by composition.
