The aroma reveals a subtle oxidative elegance – dried apricots, orange peel, honey, and toasted almonds intertwine with notes of caramel and a light veil of spice. On the palate, the wine is soft, round, and creamy, with a natural sweetness harmoniously balanced by a lively acidity. The taste offers nuts, honey nuances, lightly caramelized fruits, and a gentle citrus freshness, while the finish is long, warm, and elegantly nutty.

About the manufacturer
J.H. Andresen is a Port house founded in 1845 with Scandinavian roots, distinguished by its elegant, somewhat understated style. The company was established by Danish businessman Jann Hinrich Andresen, and the house later became known for its high-quality aged Tawny and White Port wines. Today, Andresen belongs to the family-owned group The Fladgate Partnership, which also owns historic names such as Taylor's and Fonseca.
Andresen maintains a traditional Douro identity – manual labor in the vineyards, classic fortification methods, and long aging in oak barrels in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia. The house is particularly valued for its aged 10, 20, and older Tawny and White Port categories, which reveal a nutty, caramel, and subtly oxidative elegance.
