This wine comes from clay and siliceous soil (silex), which gives it a distinctive mineral structure and a strong character. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and the wine was aged for 8 months on fine lees to maintain freshness and aromatic complexity.
The aroma is dominated by fresh, floral and mineral notes. The taste of the wine is concentrated, balanced and lively, providing a pleasant sensation of freshness and long-lasting aromatic intensity.

About the manufacturer
Family heritage and terroir Jean-Marie Reverdy & Fils is a family winemaking story that goes back 11 generations and dates back to the 19th century. Jean-Marie, his wife Catherine and sons Guillaume and Baptiste, live, work and make wines in their vineyards, located around the picturesque Sancerre hills. They make the most of the south-eastern, southern plots, where Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varieties grow, planted in a variety of soils - from sandy "Terres à Silex" to calcareous "Caillottes" and chalky "Terres Blanches".

The Reverdy family has been working with the principles of more sustainable agriculture for over 20 years, they strive to apply responsible farming methods, and in 2020 they even received the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certificate for environmental protection. There is no deviation from naturalness: from grape selection to pressing and fermentation - every step is carried out with the utmost care. In this way, the true terroir is released in their wines, which are characterized by freshness, minerality and elegance.
