The aroma is dominated by ripe pears, peaches, and pineapples, alongside notes of butter, toasted bread, and light vanilla. On the palate, the wine is very round, rich, and almost "oily", yet it retains a refreshing acidity that provides balance. The taste reveals yellow fruits, butteriness, toasted notes, and a subtle hint of honey/concentration imparted by botrytis. The finish is long, creamy, and gently mineral.
About the manufacturer
Jeff Carrel is one of the most famous contemporary consultants and winemakers in Southern France, known for his ability to create highly drinkable, characteristic wines that offer excellent value for money. At the beginning of his career, he worked with iconic Southern French names such as Grange des Pères and Mas Daumas Gassac, and later developed his own projects in the Languedoc region.
