The 2022 vintage in the Stellenbosch region was characterized by warm and relatively dry weather, allowing the grapes to ripen fully and develop greater concentration, while maintaining sufficient acidity for balance. The aroma reveals notes of ripe apples, melon, apricots, and citrus zest, complemented by nuances of honey, toasted nuts, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a creamy texture and more pronounced fruitiness, featuring notes of pear, quince, tropical fruits, and subtle caramel and brioche tones from aging on lees. The finish is long, harmonious, with a slight minerality and elegant freshness.
