Traditional Normandy farmhouse cider, characterized by its expressive and dry nature. The aroma reveals ripe apples, notes of baked apples, subtle hints of smoke, leather, and wild yeast. The taste is refreshing, dry, and structured – delicate apple fruitiness is balanced with a gentle bitterness, natural tannic notes, and a long, refreshing aftertaste. This is an example of an authentic, traditional French cider.

About the manufacturer

Manoir de Grandouet is a family farm located in the Pays d'Auge region of Normandy, near the village of Cambremer, on the famous Cider Route (Route du Cidre). The Grandval family has been cultivating this farm since the 19th century, and today it is managed by Stéphane Grandval together with his wife Lucile. The farm operates 28 hectares of organically certified orchards, growing about 20 traditional cider apple varieties. In addition to cider, they also produce Calvados AOP Pays d'Auge and Pommeau de Normandie. The philosophy of Manoir de Grandouet is based on respect for Norman traditions and the natural character of apples. All products are made exclusively from apples grown in their own orchards, using slow fermentation and many years of family experience. The old 16th-century manor press and historical cellars are still an important part of production, while modern technologies are applied only to the extent that they help preserve the authentic cider style and highest quality.
