An exceptional single-varietal Graciano wine, revealing the potential of this rare grape variety. The aroma opens with blackberries, blackcurrants, ripe plums, violet flowers, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee beans, graphite, and subtle Mediterranean herb accents. The taste is rich yet elegant – bright acidity provides vitality, while concentrated dark fruits, silky tannins, and spicy oak notes create a long, complex finish. Graciano naturally boasts high acidity and intense aromatics, allowing this wine to retain its freshness even with high concentration.

About the manufacturer
Marqués de Griñón is one of the most important modern Spanish wineries, located on the Dominio de Valdepusa estate in the province of Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha region. The family's history in this area dates back to 1292, but the greatest impact on modern Spanish winemaking was made by Carlos Falcó, Marqués de Griñón, who was one of the greatest innovators – implementing French vineyard management practices, irrigation technologies, and precise terroir analysis.
In 2002, Dominio de Valdepusa became the first Vino de Pago appellation in Spain – the highest level of individual vineyard territory. Here, wines are made exclusively from grapes grown on their own estate, aiming to convey the character of a specific plot.
This Graciano is one of the winery's most interesting projects, as this grape variety is usually used as a small part of Rioja blends, providing color, acidity, and aromatic intensity. Marqués de Griñón chose to elevate it to a leading role and demonstrate that Graciano can create a structured, long-lived, and world-class single-varietal wine.
