The aroma reveals notes of dried cherries, plums, blackcurrants, and baked fruits, complemented by cocoa, coffee, licorice, tobacco, nutmeg, and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a velvety texture and is highly concentrated, yet maintains an excellent balance between ripe fruit, refreshing acidity, and soft tannins. The finish is long, with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, tobacco, and spices. The wine has an aging potential of 30 years or more.

Masi Agricola is one of the most famous and historically significant wineries in the Veneto region, with roots dating back to 1772. For over 250 years, the Boscaini family has nurtured winemaking traditions in the Valpolicella region, and today the winery is managed by the seventh generation of the family. The Masi name has become inseparable from Amarone della Valpolicella and the traditional appassimento method, where a portion of the grapes are dried before fermentation to create wines of greater concentration and complexity. Over the decades, Masi has become one of Italy's most important wine ambassadors worldwide, exporting its wines to over 100 countries.
