Meinklang Prosa Rosé Extra Brut Pet Nat 2023

Meinklang is a biodynamic family winery located in Burgenland, eastern Austria, near the Neusiedlersee National Park. This farming community places great emphasis on soil health, biodiversity and the integration of animals into farming practices, aiming to create wines that not only reflect the character of the terroir, but are also produced in a sustainable ecological manner. The farm is Demeter certified, and most wines are produced according to a minimal intervention philosophy – meaning spontaneous fermentation, little or no fining and filtering, and natural alcohol and carbon dioxide development in the bottle. The story of Meinklang is more than just winemaking – it is a combination of horticulture, livestock farming and the vineyard, where the soil, plants and animals form a strong, natural ecosystem. Angela and Werner Michlits, together with their family, maintain this large biodynamic farming system, where every element contributes to the natural cycle and healthy microclimate, allowing the wines to express that unique Burgenland character.
