The grapes were harvested from the Chouilly Grand Cru village in 2016, aged on the lees for more than 6 years. The wine is characterized by intense complex aromas of citrus and fruit trees, light scents of cloves, vanilla, notes of butter and cream. The champagne is elegant in the mouth, with a long-lasting aftertaste.

About the manufacturer
Pierre Legras is a family-run champagne house located in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, in the Côte des Blancs region. The tradition of winemaking dates back to 1662, when Pierre Legras was born, considered the founder of this dynasty. In 2002, Vincent Legras, a representative of the eleventh generation, founded the Champagne Pierre Legras brand in honor of his ancestor. With the help of his father, he expanded the farm from 5 to more than 10 hectares, of which 7 hectares are in the Chouilly Grand Cru vineyards. In 2011, his wife Marcelline joined the business.

Today, Champagne Pierre Legras is famous for its Blanc de Blancs champagnes, made from Chardonnay grapes grown in limestone soil, which gives the wines a distinctive minerality and elegance. The farm uses sustainable farming and has been certified HVE3 (Haute Valeur Environnementale) since 2020.
