The aroma is dominated by black cherries, blackberries, plums and blueberries, along with violets, a hint of pepperiness and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is medium-to-full-bodied, soft and velvety, with ripe tannins and a warm but balanced acidity. The taste reveals dark fruits, gentle spices, a light smoky/cocoa background and a subtle sense of Sicilian sun "warmth." The finish is medium-to-long, fruity and clean.

About the manufacturer
The Morgante family pays special attention to the needs of its consumers, so they constantly strive for high-quality products. This dedication is realized through a continuous and meticulous production process, with control exercised from the grape growing stage to the final product, fully adhering to the technical recommendations and commitments established by valid national and international regulations. Furthermore, for wine production, they utilize the consultations of renowned oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, with whom they plan continuous improvements in production technologies.
The Morgante family has long been farmers in Sicily, and winemaking was elevated to a professional level in the late 20th century when the estate began purposefully investing in vineyards and modern enology in the Agrigento region. This transformation marked a shift from traditional farming to high-quality wine production, focused on unlocking the potential of the Nero d'Avola variety. Today, the estate is managed by the next generation of the Morgante family, with Antonio Morgante being the leading winemaker, considered one of the most important interpreters of modern Sicilian red wine. His leadership has defined the estate's style: intense yet structured wines, where the Sicilian sun is harnessed through technical precision and oak discipline.
