Naboso are natural wine producers from Svätý Jur, a historic wine region near Bratislava, where winemaking has a deep tradition. The winery is run by husband and wife team Nadja and Andrej Miklušičák, who aim to produce wines that reflect the terroir and the aesthetics of handmade craftsmanship to the fullest. The name “Naboso” means “barefoot”, which perfectly reflects their philosophy – minimal intervention, natural fermentation and respect for the origin of the grape. The farm is managed organically, with grapes grown on grassy, ​​sandy soils on the southern and southeastern slopes, where the vines are left with excellent acidity and aromatic characteristics. Vinification is based on spontaneous fermentation, minimal additives and long aging on the lees, and the wines are often unfiltered and with many natural nuances. This approach gives Opera and their other sparkling wines a pronounced mineral character, a clear reflection of the local environment and an authentic expression of natural wine.
