This Tavel rosé is richer than traditional Provence rosés but maintains a fresh and fruity profile. The aroma is dominated by notes of red berries – strawberries, raspberries, and cherries – along with subtle hints of citrus, peach, and spice. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity, soft tannins, and a long finish. The finish is complex, with lingering fruit, herbaceous, and mineral character, which gives the wine structure and vibrancy.

About the manufacturer
Ogier is one of the most famous Rhone Valley wineries, founded in 1859. This winery is renowned for its strong roots in ancient traditions and masterful exploitation of the local terroir. The company focuses heavily on a clean, authentic wine style and the expression of the region's character, as Tavel is the only French region that specializes exclusively in rosé production.
Stéphane Ogier is the current winemaker of the winery and the creator of the Ogier Tavel region wines. He is responsible for the entire production process, from vineyard management to fermentation and aging. Stéphane's philosophy is based on preserving traditions, minimal intervention, and maximum terroir expression – each wine must reflect the soil and climate characteristics of the Tavel region.
He pays particular attention to vintage control, the fermentation process, and aging, aiming to maintain fruitiness, structure, and harmonious balance. Stéphane's leadership ensures that Ogier Tavel Rosé retains its elegance, vibrancy, and international prestige.
