NBA All-Star Domantas Sabonis and his wife, businesswoman Shashana Sabonis, launched their wine brand "Ones by Sabonis"

This limited edition wine is made from Napa Valley grapes and aged for 21 months in 70% new French oak barrels, which gives the wine depth and complexity. The Cabernet is described as having a rich aroma, revealing notes of ripe blackberries, currants, black cherries, dried herbs, pine and a subtle minerality, providing a truly unique experience. In the mouth, the wine is powerful, yet elegant. Layers of dark fruit and silky tannins provide texture and depth.

Produced in extremely small quantities of just 1,000 bottles, this wine reflects the couple's dedication to craftsmanship. The production was overseen by former UC Davis basketball player turned winemaker, Joe Harden. The exceptional character is emphasized by the melted wax-filled cork and the elegant, minimalist label, the texture of which subtly replicates the surface of a basketball, thus symbolically connecting Domantas Sabonis' basketball world with the mastery of wine. This makes this edition a true collector's item.

About the manufacturer

Wine often serves as a bridge between cultures, places and, of course, people. For Domantas and Shashana, this project was born after moving to California when he joined the Sacramento Kings team. Napa Valley, one of the world’s best wine regions, was just around the corner. It all started not with a grand business plan, but with a small experiment. The couple produced a small batch of wine to give as gifts to friends and family. The positive reactions and genuine enthusiasm inspired them to take this passion to the next level by creating an official brand.
Ones by Sabonis is not just another celebrity wine. It is quality, sustainability and family history in one bottle. The project is being implemented in Napa Valley in collaboration with experienced winemaker Joe Harden. Special attention is paid to the quality of raw materials. The wine is made from grapes grown in CCOF certified (organic) and regenerative vineyards. This means that the Sabonis and their partners care not only about the final product, but also about the health of the soil and the environment. This business has become a real family activity, in which even children are involved. As Shashana said, even the youngest participate in the harvest, enjoying the grapes.
