Parés Baltà is a family-owned winery whose history dates back to 1790. It is located in the Penedès region of Catalonia and is now owned by the Cusiné family. The winery manages over 200 hectares of its own organically and biodynamically cultivated vineyards, situated at different altitudes – from the Mediterranean coast to over 800 meters above sea level. This diversity of terrain and microclimates allows each grape variety to be planted in the most suitable location. One of Parés Baltà's distinctive features is that its technical team is led by two female winemakers, Marta Casas and Maria Elena Jiménez, who craft all the winery's wines, combining traditional Catalan winemaking knowledge with a modern approach to sustainable production. The winery operates according to biodynamic farming principles; all grapes are hand-picked, and minimal intervention is applied in the cellar to ensure the wines accurately reflect their origin. The name Honeymoon was inspired by Joan Cusiné and his wife Maria Àngels Carol's honeymoon trip – it is one of Parés Baltà's most popular and longest-produced white wines, becoming a true symbol of the winery.
