The aroma opens with wild strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and redcurrants, complemented by notes of black pepper, brioche, toasted bread, and a hint of spice. In the background, the chalky minerality characteristic of the Bouzy Grand Cru terroir lingers. The taste is rich yet very elegant, with fine, creamy bubbles and an excellent balance between fruitiness and refreshing acidity. Wild strawberries, cherries, pink grapefruit, almonds, and a subtle note of buttery brioche are present. The finish is long, mineral, and gently spicy, with the characteristic Pinot Noir character.

About the manufacturer
Paul Bara is one of the most renowned family-run ("Grower Champagne") wineries in the Bouzy Grand Cru village, with a history dating back to the mid-19th century. The family name is inseparable from Bouzy – Paul Bara was not only a winemaker but also a historian of his native village, believing that the family's greatest asset was their vineyards. Today, the winery is managed by Chantale Bara, a sixth-generation representative, who continues the family's philosophy: cultivating their grapes with the utmost respect for the land and allowing the Bouzy Grand Cru terroir to speak for itself. For over a century, the family has consciously chosen quality over quantity, which is why their Champagnes are famous for their rich Pinot Noir character, elegance, and exceptional longevity.
