This sparkling wine has a complex, mature and elegant character. The aroma reveals notes of yellow apples, ripe peaches, dried lemon peel, complemented by vanilla, toast, nuts and light spice tones. The taste is dry, with lively but well-integrated acidity, a creamy texture and fine bubbles. Light oak, brioche and even subtle tobacco or balsamic nuances are felt, and the aftertaste is long, deep and complex.

The 2019 harvest in the Penedès region was balanced and conducive to quality wine – warm enough to allow the grapes to fully ripen, but also maintaining the necessary acidity. This allows for more ripe fruitiness, more concentration, while maintaining the freshness that is especially important for high-end cava.

Pere Ventura is a quality cava producer from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, a town considered the capital of cava. The Penedès region is famous for its calcareous soils and Mediterranean climate, which allow grapes to be grown with excellent acidity and aromatic concentration, essential for high-quality sparkling wines. The producer pays special attention to the traditional production method - secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, and longer aging with yeasts gives the wine complexity and texture. Pere Ventura also emphasizes sustainability and working with its vineyards to achieve an authentic expression of the terroir and an elegant cava style in each bottle.
