Aromas of cherries, plums, blueberries, and blackberries, along with Mediterranean herbs, violets, and subtle notes of cocoa and pepper. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, soft, and well-balanced, with gentle tannins and refreshing acidity. The taste combines the cherry notes of Sangiovese, the softness of Merlot, and the spiciness of Syrah. The finish is fruity, warm, and slightly earthy.
About the manufacturer
Petra is one of Tuscany’s most modern and visually striking wineries, founded by the Vittorio Moretti family (who also own Bellavista Franciacorta). The winery in the region was designed by the renowned architect Mario Botta and has become a symbol of contemporary Tuscany — minimalist architecture, precise oenology, and respect for the terroir.
