Raventós i Blanc is one of the oldest and most respected sparkling wine producers in Catalonia, with vineyards dating back to the 15th century, and Josep Maria Raventós i Blanc is recognized as the pioneer of the traditional bottle fermentation method in Spain. As part of the Conca del Riu Anoia movement (a terroir-oriented project that broke away from the traditional Cava DO), the producer adheres to the principles of biodynamic viticulture and emphasizes the expressiveness of local varieties and the influence of the region's soils. The producer's philosophy is based on respect for nature and terroir - the grapes are grown according to biodynamic practices, and the wines are aged with great attention to authenticity and refinement. This allows the Blanc de Blancs 2022 to be not only fruity and lively, but also complex, balanced and suitable for both everyday gourmet consumption and solemn moments.
