2022 was a warm year in Mendoza, but with cool nights, allowing the Cabernet Franc grapes to retain good acidity and aromatic precision. Such conditions resulted in a wine that is clear, fruity, and with a slight herbaceous expression. The aroma is dominated by red berries – raspberries, strawberries, a hint of blackberries – along with characteristic Cabernet Franc notes: green pepper, fresh herbs, a slight spiciness, and a subtle smoky hint.
On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with soft but noticeable tannins and vibrant acidity. The fruit flavor is clean and not overbearing, and the finish is quite long, with light herbal and spicy notes.

About the manufacturer
Rutini Wines is one of Argentina's most historically significant wineries, founded in 1885 by Felipe Rutini in Mendoza. From the very beginning, their goal was to transfer European winemaking experience to the foothills of the Andes and demonstrate that Mendoza could produce high-quality, long-lasting wines. Today, the winery works with high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley and other areas of Mendoza, where high elevation, intense sun, and cool nights allow them to maintain acid balance and aromatic precision. Their philosophy is based on precise work in the vineyards, careful selection, and technological accuracy in the cellar – aiming for a balance between fruit concentration, structure, and elegance, so that each wine clearly reflects the character of the Andean terroir.
