The 2022 season in the Mendoza region was characterized by sunny days and cold nights, allowing the Malbec grapes to ripen ideally, maintaining a rich fruit profile and clear acidity. Such climatic conditions enabled the creation of a wine that is aromatic and well-structured. The aroma is dominated by ripe dark plums, blackcurrants, and blackberries, accompanied by notes of chocolate, cocoa, black pepper, and herbal spices, which add depth and complexity.
On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-to-full-bodied, with well-balanced tannins and a clear line of acidity that provides vibrancy and structure. The finish is long, fruity, and harmonious, with a continuation of dark berries and spices.
About the manufacturer
Rutini Wines is one of Argentina's most historically significant wineries, founded in 1885 by Felipe Rutini in Mendoza. From the very beginning, their goal was to transfer European winemaking experience to the foothills of the Andes and demonstrate that Mendoza could produce high-quality, long-lasting wines. Today, the winery works with high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley and other areas of Mendoza, where high elevation, intense sun, and cool nights allow them to maintain acid balance and aromatic precision.
