2023 was a balanced vintage in Mendoza – sunny days and cool nights helped the Sauvignon Blanc grapes maintain bright acidity and aromatic clarity, alongside a riper fruit profile than seen in cooler climate regions. These conditions allowed for the creation of a vibrant and aromatic wine, yet one that maintains a balance between fruit and acidity.

The aroma is dominated by green apples, citrus (especially lemon and green mandarin peel), pear, with hints of herbaceous notes and a light herbal minerality adding extra depth and a regional signature.

On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with clear, crisp acidity and a clean fruit profile. The finish is long, fruity, and harmonious – with a continuation of citrus aromas.

About the manufacturer

Rutini Wines is one of Argentina's most historically significant wineries, founded in 1885 by Felipe Rutini in Mendoza. From the very beginning, their goal was to transfer European winemaking experience to the foothills of the Andes and demonstrate that Mendoza could produce high-quality, long-lasting wines. Today, the winery works with high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley and other areas of Mendoza, where high elevation, intense sun, and cool nights allow them to maintain acid balance and aromatic precision. Their philosophy is based on precise work in the vineyards, careful selection, and technological accuracy in the cellar – aiming for a balance between fruit concentration, structure, and elegance, so that each wine clearly reflects the character of the Andean terroir.
