About the manufacturer

Shinobu Distillery is located in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. The whisky is created by master blender Ken Usami, who selects whiskies from various distilleries and gives them a unique character through aging in Mizunara oak. The name Shinobu itself means "endurance" or "patience."
