This wine is lively, aromatic and refreshing - citrus, passion fruit, lychee and white flowers stand out on the nose, while on the palate it offers dynamic acidity, a soft hint of creaminess and a long, balanced finish. Its taste is very elegant, aromatic, but at the same time it seems structured and not too light.
The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12–14 °C, and then aged on the lees for three months, which gives it additional weight and texture.
About the manufacturer
This wine is made by Susana Balbo, the first female oenologist in Argentina and one of the country’s most influential winemakers. She is known as the “Queen of Torrontés” for her contributions to the development of the variety’s structure and elegance. Her Dominio del Plata winery is based on principles of sustainability, innovation and the desire to create wine that conveys the terroir characteristic of Argentina and the spirit of its wine heritage. The philosophy is a young, lively, sincere wine (the “Crios” line translates to “offspring/childhood”) – lovingly aged by hand and with respect for the origin of the grapes.
