    Zigante Tartufi is a Croatian company based in the Istria region, famous for its rich truffle forests. Its story began with the discovery of a record-breaking white truffle by founder Giancarlo Zigante, which helped put the region on the world gastronomic map. Truffles are collected in the traditional way with specially trained dogs, whose keen sense of smell helps them detect the delicacies hidden underground. The hunters work very carefully so as not to upset the balance of nature: when a truffle is found, only as much is dug up as is necessary, and the ground is leveled again so that the forest ecosystem remains healthy and the truffles can continue to grow.
    The harvested truffles are carefully selected and sorted according to size, quality and aroma. They are then processed in a modern factory, where a variety of products are produced - from fresh truffles to condiments, pastes or oils. The entire process is based on naturalness and sustainability, in order to preserve the value of both the product and the environment. Zigante Tartufi's philosophy is simple - to respect the earth, preserve nature and share the best with the world.
