The aroma reveals orange, cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries, and dried flowers, along with notes of graphite, smoke, lava rock, and light spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant, medium-bodied, with very precise tannin structures and lively acidity. The taste features red and dark fruits, citrus bitterness, nuances of tobacco and herbs, and a distinct volcanic "saline" sensation.

About the manufacturer
It is no coincidence that Terra Costantino was the first organic winery in the Etna region at a time when the world had not yet discovered the extraordinary oenological microcosm of this volcano. Behind this brand lies a long history of family farming, based on a love for the land. More than 40 years ago, we learned the captivating story of this terroir: Dino Costantino restored the vineyard in Contrada Blandano, where our winery is located today, and discovered that the spontaneous wines born from those 10 hectares of vines growing in the highlands, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, originated from a centuries-old tradition linked to a millstone dating back to 1699. Although the family business at the time was focused on other activities, that meeting between man and earth was astonishing—a love that renews itself every year, with every harvest. Since 2020, the farm has been expanded with a new vineyard in Contrada Praino, Milo: 2 magnificent terraced hectares in land naturally ideal for high-quality Etna white wine.
