The aroma is dominated by lemon, lime, green apple peel, white flowers, and pear, along with a distinct note of wet stone, salt, and volcanic ash. On the palate, the wine is dry, very taut and "electric," with high, precise acidity. The taste reveals citrus, green peach, a hint of herbal bitterness, and a distinct salty mineral backbone. The finish is long, clean, and very "tightly structured" - a typical high-altitude Etna Superiore style.

About the manufacturer
It is no coincidence that Terra Costantino became the first organic winery in the Etna region at a time when the world had not yet discovered the extraordinary oenological microcosm of this volcano. Behind this brand, there is a long history of family farming, based on a love for the land. More than 40 years ago, we became acquainted with the fascinating history of this terroir: Dino Costantino re-established the vineyard in Contrada Blandano, where our winery is located today, and discovered that the spontaneous wines born from those 10 hectares of vines growing in the highlands overlooking the Mediterranean Sea originated from a centuries-old tradition, linked to a millstone dating back to 1699.
Although the family business at the time focused on other activities, that encounter between man and land was astonishing — a love that renews itself every year, with every harvest. Since 2020, the farm has been expanded with a new vineyard in Contrada Praino, Milo: 2 magnificent hectares of terraced land naturally ideal for high-quality Etna white wine.
