On the nose, this wine is very clean and delicate: notes of melon, green apple, pear, and light citrus (especially orange zest) are present, along with white flowers and a subtle herbaceous hint. On the palate, it is light, dry, and very refreshing, with crisp acidity that gives a sense of "straightness" and a gentle but clear mineral line. The taste reiterates citrus and ripe white fruit, with a slight bitterness of orange zest and a hint of saltiness on the finish, characteristic of Friuli's "ponca" soils.
