A fresh, mineral and expressive Atlantic-style white wine. The aroma reveals lemon zest, green apples, white peaches, white flowers and flint notes. The taste is dry, vibrant, with prominent acidity, a chalky expression of minerality and a slightly salty aftertaste, which is imparted by the calcareous soils located near the ocean.

About the manufacturer

Vale da Capucha is a winery owned by the Marques family, located at Quinta de São José farm near the Atlantic Ocean, in the Lisbon region. Fourth-generation winemaker Pedro Marques has been working organically since 2012, striving to accurately convey the local terroir. His philosophy involves minimal intervention in the cellar, local grape varieties, and a vibrant expression of the Atlantic climate and calcareous, fossil-rich soils.
