A light, refreshing, and incredibly juicy Portuguese Palhete style wine – a traditional example of co-fermentation of white and red grapes. The aroma reveals cranberries, sour cherries, pink peppercorns, subtle herbal, smoky, and limestone notes. The taste is dry, vibrant, and elegant, with soft tannins, bright acidity, and a refreshing, mineral finish. Best enjoyed lightly chilled.
About the manufacturer
Vale da Capucha is the Marques family's winery, located just about 10 km from the Atlantic Ocean in the Lisbon region. Fourth-generation winemaker Pedro Marques works organically on the estate and adheres to a minimal intervention philosophy, aiming to highlight the character of local varieties and the calcareous, fossil-rich soils. His wines are characterized by freshness, minerality, and an authentic expression of the Atlantic climate.
