  • 100% Riesling
  • Dry white wine, aged in neutral oak barrels

An elegant and fresh Riesling, where aromas of white peach, citrus, white apples, and yellow stone fruits intertwine. The taste is juicy and precise, with bright, refreshing acidity, subtle minerality, and a light salinity on the finish. The wine is not heavy or overly concentrated – it boasts the lightness characteristic of the Federspiel category, yet possesses enough texture and structure to be interesting for aging.

About the manufacturer

Weingut Knoll, officially Emmerich Knoll, is one of the most famous and respected wineries in Wachau. The family winery is located in the village of Unterloiben, and its wines are recognizable by one of Austria's most famous wine labels – a Baroque depiction of St. Urban, the patron saint of vineyards. The Knoll family focuses on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, and their wines are characterized not by modern, fruity lightness, but by the classic Wachau style: concentration, spiciness, minerality, and the ability to age for a long time. The wines are fermented and aged in traditional large wooden barrels, and the head winemaker Emmerich Knoll, together with his family, strives to maintain the clearest possible expression of a particular vineyard.
