The aroma opens with lemon,lime zest, white peach, apricot and delicate meadow herbs. In the background, a subtle floral honey and a light hint of exotic fruits (e.g., papaya) emerge.
The taste is dry, lively, and very clean, with a bright, precise acidity. Citrus, peach, ripe apricot, and a hint of tropical fruits are noticeable, while the minerality provides a "flinty" backbone. The finish is long, fresh, and precise, with a slight salty note and a citrusy tension.
About the manufacturer
Fred Loimer is one of Austria's most prominent winemakers, known for his innovative yet very deliberate approach to winemaking. He took over the family estate in the Kamptal region and purposefully transformed it into a biodynamic one, believing that only living, healthy soil can produce truly expressive wine. His philosophy is based on minimal intervention – he allows the wine to develop naturally, avoids excessive technology, and strives for each wine to be a true reflection of its place and vintage. Loimer is also known for his courage to experiment – from natural fermentations to creating alternative styles, but always maintaining balance and elegance. For him, the most important thing is not to "impress," but to create a wine that has energy, vitality, and emotion. His wines are often characterized by cleanliness, freshness, and a subtle yet very true character – just like Loimer himself.
