A richer and more intense Viennese Chardonnay, combining citrus, stone fruit, and subtle herbal notes. The aroma features lemon zest, peaches, pears, and a light herbaceousness. The taste is round, textured, and harmonious, yet maintains good freshness and elegance. This is not a heavy, buttery, or heavily oaked Chardonnay, but rather a fruity, fresh, and mineral Viennese-style wine.

Weingut Wieninger is one of Vienna's most important wineries and one of the wineries that have contributed the most to Vienna's reputation as a serious wine region. The winery is run by Fritz Wieninger, and his philosophy is to show what the true "Viennese character" is in wine.
Wieninger vineyards are located on two different sides of Vienna: Bisamberg is dominated by light, sandy loess on limestone, while Nussberg features weathered shell limestone. This Chardonnay combines the character of both locations: Bisamberg provides fruitiness and roundness, while Nussberg offers minerality and structure. All vineyards used for this wine are farmed biodynamically.
