Weingut Wieninger Wiener Grüner Veltliner Vienna DAC 2022 0.75 L

Weingut Wieninger is one of Vienna's most important wineries and one of the reasons why Vienna is now considered one of the most exciting wine cities in the world. The winery is run by Fritz Wieninger, who has made a significant contribution to restoring Vienna's wine reputation and elevating the city's vineyards to a higher level. Wieninger vineyards are located within the city of Vienna – mostly in Bisamberg and Nussberg. This wine is made from grapes from both areas: in the 2022 vintage, the majority of the grapes were from Bisamberg, with the remainder from Nussberg. Bisamberg soils are characterised by sandy loess over limestone, while Nussberg is dominated by weathered shell limestone. All vineyards used for this wine have been cultivated according to biodynamic principles since 2008.
